Success Story
“Good luck, Mrs. Long!”
Mrs. Margaret Long (better known as Nonni) arrived at Julia Manor with a significant decline in mobility and self-care tasks. Nonni worked hard during her stay to improve her functional abilities and was determined to safely transition home with her son.
Nonni began her therapies with decreased activity tolerance, strength, dizziness and decreased ability to safely complete self-care tasks. Nonni had made significant progress with her overall body and core strength, mobility, basic tasks using compensatory strategies and equipment taught by her therapists. One of her favorite sayings during her treatment sessions was “not too bad for a 98-year-old!”
Nonni was grateful for the therapy team at Julia Manor that helped her achieve her goal of returning home with her son Brian. Congratulations Nonni on your therapy accomplishments and returning home!
